My friend Jessica is pregnant with her first baby! I was honored to host her baby shower, along with Ashley & Kerri. Jessica is having a little girl so the theme of the shower was pink and grey chevron.

Oh course I found an excuse to use the chalkboard. I dressed it up the a pink and silver glitter pinwheel
Baby Girl Wreath - Ashley and I whipped this little cutie up the night before the shower. Pretty good for last minute planning!
Butterfly mobile - Instead of attaching it to a ring I tied each string directly onto the chandelier
DIY Glitter chevron artwork. It turned out amazing. Tutorial here!
I went a little crazy with the glitter and started covering EVERYTHING in sparkles, including my husband
Jessica is a true fashionista so we setup a headband decorating station for each guest to create a headband for the baby. She is going to be one stylish infant!
The popcorn bar was a hit!
Chevron table runner available here
Instead of my signature mustache straw, I made these heart straws. I love them so much so I decided to add them to my Etsy shop

What color Essie polish did you give away?
ReplyDeleteWe bought a bunch of shades of pink so everyone could pick their perfect color. I think the color in the photo is Cascade Cool.
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI love your baby shower ideas! Looks like the shower turned out great :) Can you tell me how you made the silver sparkly rubber ducks?
Thank you!
The glitter ducks were super easy! I bought cheap plastic ducks in the baby shower section at the craft store, covered them in Mod Podge, and then sprinkled glitter all over. I used the super fine Martha Stewart glitter from Michael's.
Deletedid you buy the nail polish in bulk?? if so where did you find it??
ReplyDeleteOne of the other hostesses found the nail polish somewhere in NYC. I'm not sure where. Sorry:(
Deletewhere did you get the make up bags?
ReplyDeleteI love your use of color. Pink has always been a favorite color of baby shower ideas for girls
ReplyDeleteBut your use of the color doesn’t make it over the top. Great Job!
Where did ya find the rubber duckies with bow accent on top ?
ReplyDeletecan you tell me where the BABY coffee mugs are from?
ReplyDeleteThe mugs are from Anthropologie
DeleteWhat craft store did you find the ones with the bow on top? I have searched everywhere and can't find them :-(
ReplyDeleteThe duck was purchased from Michael's in the baby shower aisle.
DeleteGood luck!
